i didn't want to address this, but i kind of have to. these people will keep getting away with these slimy acts if nobody brings it to light.
these cheeky motherfuckers, they steal the audio from trending videos, (especially if the audio is music), reupload it off of a bullshit label, contact the platform that the trending video is on, and then that platform promotes the stolen reuploaded audio next to the video.
music is a very creative avenue for people to express their "talent". (i will not elaborate on that) and people stealing music from other people is destroying the community. social media platforms need to take action. it is truly depressing to see big companies make money off of other people's creations, while pushing actual talent away from public viewing.
the best (and most recent) example of this, is random channels reuploading the song the internet has proclaimed as "chipi chipi chapa chapa" or "dubi dubi daba daba". i'm just going to archive a few of the channels i could find from searching those phrases and link them here to give you a taste of what (as the children say it) i'm yapping about.
